Ciao!

My name is Silvia, born in '86, and a proud mix of two italian cities I love, Bergamo and Brescia.

My life has been shaped by an innate sense of curiosity and a passion for travel—a passion deeply rooted in my family, which has always cultivated the desire to explore the world. As my mom would say, at one point we had four different time zones, a son in Brazil, a daughter in Qatar, a husband in India, and she, the anchor point, in Italy. We did a lot of family trips in Italy and Europe and that is something I have also enjoyed and look forward to.

 

I have just took a leap of faith, leaving a successful career in luxury hotels in the Middle East to pursue love and a new life in the United States. My journey led me to live for 13 years in the Middle East, between Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. And now in the United States, where I am starting a bit from scratch.

Why a blog?

To share past and future travels, to have a place where to go back to one day and read about my experiences. My memory is not the best so I think this is a great way to keep a record and I and I hope it can be helpful to those who want to learn more about these destinations and life changes.
